A little about me
Amber Martin Music- I started singing with my parents in their country band at age 15, singing harmony vocals. With some encouragement from my mother, I soon started singing lead. After my mother's passing, I, along with 2 of my brothers (who were also in our parents band) formed a band of our own. We performed for many years in the tri-state area of Kentucky, West Virginia and Ohio. After moving to Louisville, Kentucky, I started singing in Country music venues around town and in Tennessee, Illinois, Missouri and Indiana. In 2016, I joined the group "The Doo-Wop Allstars" which now goes by "The Doo-Wops". In 2019, I also started singing with "The Uptown Band". I continue to do individual shows singing Country, Oldies and Gospel.
I've had the privilege of sharing stages and opening for entertainers such as Ronnie McDowell, Neal McCoy, Crystal Gayle, Loretta Lynn, Ernest Tubb and Little Jimmie Dickens to name a few.
I thank God every day for his blessings and for giving me something in my life that I enjoy so much.
My mother Phyllis Crisp
My Mother was a huge influence on my singing, sadly she passed at a young age.
My Dad Dennie Crisp and my brothers Ronald and Rodney Crisp.
My Dad and brothers have been a huge part of my music and I appreciate them all for keeping me so inspired.
